We have been in the nursery business for 6 years. We both come from gardening backgrounds, our families grew vegetables to live and flowers to enjoy. April, 2005 will mark our 30th year of living here on our own little piece of paradise.Echinicea - Purple Coneflower

Barbara has been growing herbs for fragrance and beauty for most of those 30 years. We both like trying out new plants and really enjoy finding uncommon native plants. We try to teach our customers about natives and alternatives to the overused landscape plantings.

What we sell is grown right here (with a very few exceptions) so we know it will grow under the Texas sun.

There are several truck farmers growing in our area and we grow custom starts for them. Our stock of bedding plants includes several varieties of heirloom tomatoes, as well as heat tolerant tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash and others.

Contact us for more information on custom growing vegetable starts. We can customize labels with your business name, your preferred descriptions and even your retail price. (No barcodes as yet)

Wendy (Barbara's sister), in front of their grandfather's garden near Oxford, England. Their grandfather fed a family of ll from this garden.

My mother was allowed to pick the flowers and sold nosegays for pocket money as a teenager. I remember helping my grandfather by picking up rocks and tossing them into the hedgerow at the far end of the garden.
